How does Flownerve Neck Pro work?

Flownerve Neck Pro stimulates the vagus nerve through mild electrical pulses applied to the neck. Two contact points are placed on the sides of the neck, where the cervical branches of the vagus nerve run beneath the tissue. The stimulation activates nerve signals that travel on towards the brainstem and affect the autonomic nervous system.

The vagus nerve is strongly linked to the parasympathetic nervous system – the body's system for rest and recovery. Through transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation, the aim is to help the body shift from a more stress- and activity-dominated state towards a calmer, more recovery-oriented one.

Flownerve has six different frequency modes between 5 and 100 Hz, tailored to different occasions such as sleep, recovery, focus, and winding down. The intensity is adjusted step by step until you feel a mild, even tingling at the contact points.

The stimulation is delivered through the skin and therefore requires no surgical procedure. The technique is called transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation.
